From 200 people innovating to 2 million in 2 years
Sweden's new platform for citizen-driven innovation - where public and private sector come together to create the Sweden we dream of tomorrow
Ann Molin, Head Project manager, Hack for Sweden
We are Swedens new platform for citizen-driven innovation and over 30 Swedish government agencies and companies are already cooperating to promote innovation through open data. As part of the process of increasing the digitalization of our public sector, the Swedish Government put focus on open data and citizen-driven innovation. Public sector, academic sector and enterprises need to interact and collaborate. Through open and citizen-driven innovation, more people than ever can contribute to our welfare and together we can build the society we dream of tomorrow – Sweden 4.0.
Hack for Sweden is a government mission raised to increase the awareness and use of open data. Our focus and goal is to stimulate and broaden the use of open data for the benefit of society. We organize Sweden's largest yearly hackaton organized by government agencies. In 2019, Hack for Sweden will take place at Stockholmsmässan, on April 4th-6th.
